So much of what I remember about Danny is from family stories and this one sticks in my head. Danny was small for his age, so at 3 years old, his mother bought a ticket to come up to New York to visit relatives, and Danny was passing as a "lap child" - 2 years old or younger to sit on her lap and not have his own seat on the plane.

Well, his size was definitely passable, little blonde cute Danny, but as they walked onto the plane, Danny spoke up, "So, who flies this plane anyway?". Small but smart, that's our Danny. (the joke is, for you non-parents reading this- is that a 2 year old wouldn't have that vocabulary or insight).
